Barbarian - A brutal fighter taking advantage of an extremely offensive fighting style
Ogre - Eats his ennemies and deals huge blows

WITCH
Sorceress - The ultimate spellcaster
Enchantress - The physical witch, with wands and physical damage spells

RANGER
Survivalist - For summoning and elemental damage

TEMPLAR
Crusader - Defender of the innocents
Sage - Has bonuses for casting spells and going for elemental damage

SCION
Avatar - The Goddess's reprensentative on Wraeclast
SHADOW
Silencer - Anti-mage class. It can still use magic, but will have notables related to stopping and hindering enemy spells.

MARAUDER
Berserker - Low life, high damage / 2 hander.
Shaman - Totem and fire damage. Also some degree of healing and powerful regen.

WITCH
Banshee - Curses and physical damage (the latter ambiguous between wands and physical spells). It will have a slightly melee focused branch.
Sorceress - Glass cannon, spell damage + energy shield, not elemental specific.

RANGER
Druid - A more ambiguous / hybrid ranger with defensive bonuses and some spellcasting (a bit vague, I know).

TEMPLAR
Archmage - Powerful elemental magic. Big mana bonuses, increase spell power through increased mana cost.
Paladin - Defensive templar, short range focused, block mechanics.

SCION
Oracle - Very flexible, bigger ascendancy tree. Six branches, three of them benefit a hybrid playstyle (casting spells after attacking for example) and three are more focused.
Good entries so far, people, we have fairly classic names like Rogue or Barbarian but also exotic ones like that Omnipetal thingy, also liked that shameless nod to Havoc and light radius idea :)

Oh, and it's fine to overlap with other entries somewhat, it doesn't have to be 100% original if you're out of ideas, it just means you're betting on the same horse.

* Added two more rules about contest ending and placing an entry after they reveal a subclass if they decide to do it one by one.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Marauder - Totemist
Access to iron will, weird ways to get cast speed and an option to buffs totems.

Marauder 2.... - ? Oathsworn
Sacred warrior. Deals extra damage versus rare mobs. Takes flat reduced damage from attacks or maybe just reduced damage from white mobs in general and slightly less from blue mobs? Reduced damage taken from damage over time? Maybe could have a headhunter effect? +% max resists? Chaos resistance?



Scion - Prodigy
Access to all manner of weird stuff.

Wishful thinking here:
Has a node that gives +100 to all attributes
Has a node that gives 15 skill points.
Has nodes that increase attributes by %.
Maybe a node with +1 maximum all charges for Oomph?


Witch:
Idk

1st:
Thaumatologist (since Sorceress was taken) - Generic caster stuff.
Immunity to stuns while casting.
Immunity to elemental status effects while casting. (?)

2nd:
Wrathmage (?) - Adept at electrocution.



Templar
Idk

1st:
Zealot - Ele melee

2nd:
Purger (?) - Likes to burn things. Heretics, books, other exiles, rabbits.



Shadow - Cryomancer
Professional ice sculptor.



Ranger - Phantom
Poledancing hustler that likes to facetank piety.

First off, thank you for doing this contest. I love it when people do things like this. I’ll add my guesses after I think about it more. I also might add something into the prize pot myself, but I don’t really have too much. We’ll see.

One question though. So the person with the most correct class names wins, but you never said if we had to limit how many guesses we can take (per missing class). For example, could I submit a few different names for the Scion class, or just one? It seems like everyone is doing one guess per class, but I thought I’d ask just so we can be clear.

Right, one guess per subclass, there would be no need to ban freshly created accounts otherwise. Well, not that most would bother creating any for such a slim prize pool but it's just in case.

And, of course, thank you everyone for participating.
