Path of Maps - Track your map runs

Finally I started using this application and I can only say one word... Magnificent!!!

But I always have "buts" :P
I don't play in windows mode and my computer is really bad. Press Alt + Tab while I play PoE (to check if all is ok) is almost like a suicide in terms of resource consumption. I was wondering if you can add a verification when you effectively start recording a map (> start) and when recording ends (> end)?... I don't know, any warning sound or a small message in game. If one is not entirely accustomed it may be somewhat "doubtful" whether everything has been done well or some mistake was made.

Thanks :)
Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?

Good point! Even I sometimes check if the map got started ok ^^.
If you don't play in windowed mode, I don't think I can have an overlay or something. But sound queues might work! I'll add it to my list of things to do.

Glad you like it :)

I sure am falling behind the other users of this tracking tool. When I go back to running solo maps I might be able to catch up again. Two additional points:

I was not able to figure out how to copy items from chat to my clipboard, so it might not be possible to track maps owned/opened from other users. Honestly that is fine, as they are the ones who would get the map drops, and that was the original purpose of tracking as well. If I really wanted to, I could keep track of total number of maps run with just the start name command with out the map mods.

Second, would it be possible to have the time/date the map was run included on the site? Seeing the number of maps is great, but this leaves out the density of maps per gaming session. With many people accessing from different time zones I do not know if this is possible, but worth asking.

Thanks again.
I'll try again, but I'm pretty sure I managed to copy the map when hovering over it in the chat, and pressing Ctrl + C. You can't use the AHK script though, if the chat is opened, because it's first pressing Enter, then entering the command, then pressing Enter again. So if the chat is open, it would close it first.
But anyways, you'd definitely need some kind of guest command, otherwise it would mess up a bit your drop stats, since you can't drop maps as a guest.

At first, I wanted to split the map listing per day, instead of a giant list. I'll look into doing that, but maybe I'll just start with adding a date to the map cards.

Btw, I should be done with a first rough version of the export tool in the next few days, so that you can import all this data in google spreadsheet if you want to analyze it and make pretty graphs.

That is what you take away from this? Someone puts a lot of hard work into building something for a community, and all you take away is some off color joke he made, and call him immature for it?

me thinks the real maturity level has been clearly displayed here, and the lack of is not in OP.
Can you add xp track option?
there could be command like '> sxp 129392839283' and '>exp 129792839283'
sxp - xp before map
exp - xp after map

it should take number in full format like: 129392839283 but also 129392839k or 129392M
If you want I con write php or js function to count exp - sxp (having regard penalty)

Also maybe you can add export option to export all (or some) stats from pathofmaps.com to CSV File or something like that

Makes sense, so it might be better shelve the idea for now.

So you prefer giving the full XP value instead of just entering the %? The % would be way less precise, especially at higher levels, but a lot easier to understand. It's probably nicer to see that this map made you gain 1%, rather than 321423XP. Although you could compute the % from the XP values, if you knew the character level.

I wish you could hover over the xp bar, and copy its data, the same way you can copy item data :(

% is nicer, but depend on my char lvl, and if i give % without my char lvl then I'll never be able to check which mods/masters give me more xp so I definitely want give number not %

It's possible to hover over the xp bar and copy data to clipboard using AHK scripts :)

What do these scripts do though? Do they take screenshots and then extract the data from them? Because I dont think PoE itself supports it out of the box.

Isn't Monster Pack Size, and extra rare and magic monsters mods the only thing that can affect XP, aside from master encounters, which you can't control?

Maybe "> sxp <lvl> <percentage> could work.
