OK... that's clearly worse.

You're circling the world to end up back in Singapore. You'd be better off using one of the EU gateways based on that trace.

Somewhere along your route, they messed up the routing, and it's sending you all over the place.

I'd escalate that to your ISP and have them investigate, but for the meantime, I'd recommend maybe one of the EU servers.
Sorry to be a pain rdx1312, but we're going to need a longer run than 12 cycles to figure this one out. 500 should be sufficient. One thing I notice though is...so many hops...

EDIT - Drakier is faster than me.

Have you removed Asus ROG/GameFirst yet?

Thanks, Drakier. I'll escalate that with my ISP. Note - All ISPs in my country have this problem. It's so strange. Could this be due to damaged under sea cables or something? I'm guessing. There's been so much rain and destruction in this part since couple of weeks.

@MaxTheLimit: I didn't get you. Should I re-run tests with different parameters? Let me know.

Generally, when testing network conditions, you should trace for at least 5 minutes, and ensure that you are experiencing any issues you would encounter while tracing.

This allows the trace to capture the bad condition and also a general overall network health. If you trace for 5 minutes and most of it is bad, it shows that the majority of the time, it's bad. If you trace for 5 minutes and only get a couple of blips, that is more normal and means that the network is generally healthy, but something else could be going on causing intermittent issues.

In WinMTR, this usually is around 300 packets.

As for the routing, it could be well outside the ISPs control. It could be a backbone or edge router causing some issues in the routing tables to get around some other known issue. Either way, in your case you would get better results going to one of the earlier servers in the hop than trying to get clear around the world from the wrong side.

I'd suggest whichever EU server is closest to you geographically.... Amsterdam maybe? Perhaps even Frankfurt or Milan?

Edit: I'd run WinMTR traces to all of them and look at the general ping times as well as the number of hops.. The one with the least hops and shortest latency times are likely your best options.

Sorry, I slept off yesterday.

Here's the test results for a longer duration.
