Very high ping - Singapore gateway connected from India

Hello GGG,
I'm not sure if you're aware but I wanted to bring to your notice suddenly high pings (constant) on Singapore server when connected from India. I've noticed this since atleast couple of weeks. I used to get 40-50 ms earlier and now it constantly hovers between 250-300 ms. I've checked my net connection and there is no change in internet speed (30 mbps - please see screenshot). http://imgur.com/45aKuQj And here's screenshot for ping in-game. http://imgur.com/6iNWdz7 Interestingly, I get almost same or better ping if I connect to London gateway. Can you please check what is wrong and if possible correct it? We can't play like this. | |

Yes same happening to all of us in our guild. Bad and high ping, disconnection frequently.
Something wrong with Singapore gateway that using we Indians. Please note this and do some fixes GGG. Beyond limitations

Same issue with me also .. Was not able to play last 1 week due to high ping issues ggg please fix this issue :(

Thanks! @rdx1312 - Could you post some WinMTR results. It could be that the problem is at the host side, or somewhere in between you and the destination. Either way WinMTR results will be useful. Either by diagnosing the problem, or for GGG to forward to the host to address. If you need help with the process of using WinMTR, you can follow THIS LINK "I would have listened... very high ping always lag fix it ping checked with other sites its ok and working normal....

You seem to be trying to connect to the US servers. Are there no closer servers for you to connect to?

Hi Drakier,
The closest one for us is Singapore. Let me know how I can set Singapore so test the results? I do set Singapore gateway while logging in to the game though. |
