Why do PoE updates take so long?
 The first logical answer would be: my HDD is too slow. Sounds logical. But no other game seems to need so much time to update. Especially with 900kb of data being updated. Is it 'normal'? Or is there a fix to it? morbo wrote:

because you use steam...which has a tendency to allocate space for another whole game file, copy it's contents then applies the patch.

I have used Steam for PoE for the last year or year and a half or something like that and have never experienced such a thing. I might be lucky? Or maybe your harddrive is faulty? I have PoE on a SSD though which might be why?
