Mozart - Requiem by Herbert von Karajan, the first three parts up to and including Dies Irae (up to 11:19) - the others were finished by another composer after Mozart's death and it shows.
link I've listened to other renditions but everything pales in comparison to Karajan. It's pure magic. The Wheel of Nerfs turns, and builds come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. I highly doubt I'd be hearing anything at all at my own funeral service .. not that I'll be having one,so nothing would be my answer.
I want to be cremated in silence,by strangers who have no prior knowledge of my being and my ashes to be scattered from the headland I stood on as a child ... partly resting in the sea and partly resting on land. I was born on land,lived a good portion of my life on and in the sea and at my age and health currently,it appears I will die on land.So it seems only fitting that I give back to both as they both gave so much.
