Server-Side Latency Spikes at the Start of Races

Did a trace for all 3 burst races. The first one didn't have any of the usual lag, but i forgot to copy to clipboard before the 2nd race. IIRC the Wrst was about 280.

Okay here is the 2nd hop from your 2nd run - | 10.31.176.1 - 0 | 746 | 746 | 38 | 62 | 731 | 39 | The number highlighted is the worst response to that hop. I'd normally ignore it if it was only 1 hop, but it carries forward through the rest of the hops. This means that you are getting spikes in latency before you even leave your providers network. This is from your 3rd run - | 10.31.176.1 - 0 | 750 | 750 | 38 | 49 | 208 | 57 | That 208 is a spike that you might be concerned about, but by the end: | 14.2c.c0ad.ip4.static.sl-reverse.com - 0 | 750 | 750 | 81 | 83 | 94 | 83 | There is no large spike, so I wouldn't be worried about it. Was the 3rd run more stable for the race for you? It's possible the Google drive was the problem on the 2nd run. Typically, you will run out of available speed on upload much quicker than on download. If that's the case PoE would have suffered as a result. For the number of hops you have, your overall response times seem high. Are you on a cell or wireless network? It's still in a playable range, I'm just curious. "I would have listened... While it seems that GDrive is the problem i'm pretty sure i tested multiple times w/ GDrive off and was always getting the issue regardless. Yet here today not. " It's not that there is anything wrong. It's just higher than I've usually seen from a hardwired connection. I guess it could be something as simple as fastpath versus interleve DSL service. Keep us updated on tests. Maybe the G drive is a red herring and the server is having intermittent issues that just didn't show up today. "I would have listened... I would have understood!" - Scion

This race (Soulthirst) didn't really have the start of instance rubberbanding... Had G Drive off. Starting to seem like G Drive might have been the issue after all, but that's so bizarre. Was certain i was getting the rubberbanding every race regardless of G Drive.
