Well this is with ES, but in principle it is what you propose. Unfortunately it is not HC viable, because the damage spikes are likely to kill you.

I finally found some time to tinker around a little and realized the setup I have posted on page 2. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hox7YFySA4g

So in principle it seems to work. I have already some Atziri's Reign and Sacrificial Harvest, so there is not much to improve. But Righteous Fire can be turned on and a fuller map can be used, so maybe it works then. Also including some Frost Nova and Cold Snap with Chill of Corruption can yield more souls. Unfortunately I have not so much free time to tinker around.

I have also done this in all of my posted vids, except with Discharge. Let me explain: You cannot trigger the same spell simultaneously 4 or 5 times or whatever, but there is a damage counter that goes up. So if you take 350 damage, then every of the spells damage counter goes up by 350. Let's say you need 1000 damage to trigger. Then after 3 times of 350 damage, one spell triggers and is reset to damage counter = 0. The others are at 1050 and have not triggered. Now every tiny bit of damage will trigger the next one, setting it to 0, leaving the others still over 1000. The next tiny bit will trigger #3 and so on.
Of course you have to be outside the 250 ms internal cooldown interval. But assuming you get 350 damage per second on average. Since all fill up simultaneously, you can cast the same spell every 250 ms, even if it would take a single instance 750 ms to fill up and fire again. So in short: They cannot fire together, but they can count up together and don't reset the damage counter together.

With the latest expansion, I came back to this game and there are a lot of changes. Biggest of all are the classes, well they are not really new to me, I have played in Perandus league as well. But really important change for this thread here:
Cast on Crit now procs always but has a high cooldown. Well, I just remembered then, that CoC Cyclone with Skeletons and Heartbound Loop (HBL) did not match very well in the past, timingwise. So I gave it a new try and voila, it fits well. Furthermore it also fits well around the idea to go with Vengeance + CoC + something (note: HBL procs vengeance). Which weapon would fit better than Trypanon? I dunno yet, I guess none.

Just killed General Grievous in Merciless and here is an encounter against one of the most dangerous mobs I got so far (ele reflect):

Of course there is still a lot of improvement. Fortify, Relocate life nodes in the center to somewhere else and get more AoE radius then. In the late game (6 ascendancy points), it might be nice to wear Kingsguard and get Immortal Call on autocast. As Juggernaut with Hearbound Loop it should be easy to get a constant stream of endurance charges, once the third notable ascendancy point has been set. Unfortunately the cast when damage skeletons won't work then, but we will see.

With 'Chaos Innoculation', 'Zeolot's Oath', 'Necromantic Aegis', and 'Maligaros Lens' Shield, do you "Recover" 2% of 'Minion Life' as 'Energy Shield' on 'Minion Death'? I have tried and it seems to not work for me.

I am hoping I'm missing something and they haven't updated the way these mechanics interact. Any thoughts?

Recovering ES with Maligaros Lens and Zealot's Oath never worked. Recovery != Regeneration != Leech, Recovery is what flasks do - that is also not changed by Zealot's Oath.

But it looks like GGG has updated the mechanics of CWDT, it is no longer possible to put 3 Spells into 1 CWDT and have separate damage counters for each. They are resetted all together. It is still possible to have separate CWDTs with the same spell and each counts for itself o_O But for obvious reason this limits the effective number of the same spell to 6. Keep in mind they will never trigger together, you can just get the damage counters up more often.

But does it work the other way around? With 5cwdt and 1 srs? So that each cwdt has its own counter?

I never played around with cwdt myself, but I friend it very interesting.
