how did the smell alone not trigger some sort of red flag would be my question. That is not the kind of smell that should go unnoticed.

I just got this to upgrade my old no name one. Seeing this thread confirms I made the right call in not waiting for a disaster to pull the trigger

Ugh, I am not going to judge people who smoke, but I hate when people do it around their computer. I've had to scrub too much gunk and crap out of fans in my life.
We use Corsair as the power supply in all our system builds these days. The quality of components in their entry level lines aren't quite what they used to be but they are 'good enough' and never seem to fail in horrible ways. "I would have listened... I would have understood!" - Scion
