If this is because you can't click on the portal because of it's position, then it's not a bug, the portal always spawns at that orientation from the master, you move a master next to an object then the portal is going to go there even if you can't click on it.
And it can be fixed by editing the hideout and clicking where the master is supposed to be and moving it's position. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi
