How will POE2 and POE coexist?
Punishing the casual players by making the boring grind of leveling take even longer just because some people play way to much? Sounds like a casual player killer.

Why people are whining about high level changes? It was overdue. Its not a casual killer, because casuals are not supposed to reach lvl 100. At least not in temp leagues.

Its the opposite. This change closes the gap between players which can afford to chain 82 due to massive currency investment and those who have to farm 78-80 on that level.

It closes a gap, not widens it. what are you whining about?
Great changes! The Map tier thing might be abit confusing at first though.

To all the people talking about catering to the 1% or this hurting casuals. This change literally has no effect at all for those 99% of players. And players need to stop thinking that it's some right for them to be able to reach level 100, level 100 is meant to only be for some hardcore players.
Patch 3.4

Apocalypse of leveling has struct us, no matter how much we try, people still are reaching level 100. As a final measure, we developed "Halt! Motherf*****" protocol.

It has three stages:
1) There is fixed amount of exp per day you can get.
2) After reaching lvl 90, you can level up only once a week. Also you need an vendor item, that costs 50 exalts, for each level up to occur. Level 99 -> 100 item costs Mirror of Kalandra.
3) Once there is one person at lvl 100, level cap becomes 99 for everyone else.

We hope this will help. Other lead developers are struct by severe depression. There is just to much high lvl characters!

then, after one of 98 players levels up to 99, level cap becomes 98 and so on... hmm, that'd be fun league mod.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
Actually GGG should have better idea like don't limit peoples to lvl 100, instead like granted or let lvl 100 character to gain regret point for every virtual level after 100 instead of experience point.

That will be more make sense as to keep the pool of high level players to develop more creative build and and indirectly will sure boost the business thru microtransactions

I like this idea. Hopefully GGG implement it or somthing similar.
