Dexterity for Shadow

Hello everyone, I am a new poe player.
I realized that no one uses the first dexterity passives, why is that? I thought dex was the main attribute of the shadow, I hope someone can clarify my doubt

You don't spec into 10 dex (or str/int) nodes. They are just travelling nodes that take you to the much more important notables/keystones/life-es-damage nodes.

A shadow only needs dex if using a melee/bow build. Even then you better pick up some accuracy nodes instead of collecting 10 dex stepping stones.

If one has trouble fullfilling gear/gem requirements one usually picks up 1 or 2 +30 passives. A witch for example might take a 30+ dex node because of gear/gem requirements.
