Lagspikes Frankfurt Server

In the last week, i have experienced many problems, like disconnections, lag, high ping. In the past 3 days, the game became unplayable.

Ping(in game): 150ms minimum, sometimes I even saw 400-500ms.

I'm italian, in game i'm connected with Milan(EU) server. This is a my speedtest:



My network works well. I have no problems with other network applications.

unplayable since days

It is good to know that others are having the same issue and I'm not alone in this ..

that is how it looks for me ingame (even more extreme more flat line and bigger spikes)

Same here, since about 2-3 days the Frankfurt Gateway is laggy and unstable, instead of my usual 30 ms I get ~100ms constantly. I even got a better and more stable connection to the London (~80ms) and Amsterdam (~60ms) servers.

god dammit, Im having all this issues too and changed my router + splitter the last days. Frankfurt, Amsterdam all unplayable. My guildmate has no issues, thats why I was looking for the solution at my connection.

I really hope this works out till the 1 month league starts

Use a VPN connection, to get around the problematic hops between the (for example) Deutsche Telekom and Level3 servers that connect to the game servers.

I used https://hide.me/ because they offer a free VPN trial (with maximum 2GB transfer volume).
As its only a solution for a few days, till the congested hop is fixed, you don't need a premium vpn service.

Ping-wise I get a ~16-17 ping (Deutsche Telekom FTTH connection), through hide.me VPN Netherlands server and Amsterdam PoE server. For the short time I tried it till now, game was very playable.

Game is playable. Ping is a little higher than without VPN (usual 16 compared to ~30 via VPN) and there is a lag every ten minutes or so. But definately playable.

Game has been on the edge of beeing unplayable for 3 days now...

Plz fix it, or atleast give us a headsup.

Servers cannot bear the numbers of players at the moment, that is the only reason there is for the behaviour of the game at this point. GGG has just to wait until the players who didn't buy anything in the shop lose their interest in the game due to unplayability. The guys who payed will sit this out and praise the servers in some days.
