Fallout 2 Online free MMO (indie)

Hey guys!

Maybe there are some Fallout fans here that might be interested in such game.

I'm administrator and game designer of Fallout 2 Online (FOnline) server and gladly invite those of you who enjoy surviving in Wasteland.

This is totally free MMORPG game, very hardcore with free-PvP (limited in towns) and full drop.

Some info about the game:

FOnline: The Life After mk2 is a FOnline SDK-based server, but with game mechanics adapted to a massively-played gameplay. Some of the major features:

- Safe cities and a removal of the aquisition of high-level equipment to special locations - high and low-level players are now physically separated and can peacefully co-exist together;
- Combat mechanics re-worked to make one's success to depend primarily on his skills, not random dice rolls;
- A starting location, where players can master the game in safety;
- Game controls and inferface adapted for a real-time game (for example, aiming system was altered - now you select a body part to aim to before the shot);
- New crafting and economics system;
- An AUCTION where players can sell their items (with special interface and other features; can be found in Den);
- A FACTION system;
- A possibility to buy own bases or create temporary shelters;
- A set of PvE locations, available via a cyclic quest in most cities and visible only to a group which has taken it - enjoy your PvE, not fearing a sudden attack from PKs!

This is awesome, well done man. Sadly i've moved on, I would have cut off my left hand to play this 10 years ago though :(
Don't forget to drink your milk 👌
This is very cool. I was wondering how "twitchy" this is, as in, do you need fast reflexes/response time?
I ask because I have a close friend who is a FO junkie but had a stroke last year. Doing amazingly well considering but still lacks the hand/eye coord to play games like PoE.

Great work by the way. thanks!

I totally agree with you. Such game was my dream too during the whole last decade. Unfortunately it was released only in 2009 and was already obsolete by that time. But it still has some player base and even newcomers.

I can definitely say that this game has slower pace than PoE, though it is not turn based and it is mostly centered around PvP. But it also has more than 100 quests (closer to 150) and a great deal of dialogues and also an advanced crafting system, so if you don't enjoy PvP, you can find other entertainments in Fallout world.

Yeah I tried this early on back in the early open testing. The biggest problem I felt with this game was how there's plenty of griefers/stalkers patrolling the game hoping to make a quick buck by hunting out new players. It's definitely difficult per the idea of it being a true dog-eat-dog world though.
