Map portals DC me after grouping for trades.

This is probably the 3rd - 4th time the past couple days I have lost a map after grouping for a trade. Can't really give many details other than I leave an instance to make a trade with someone and upon trying to reenter my map I just get dc'd with every attempt... super freaking annoying.
My only option is to stop leaving the map to trade so this game stops breaking on me. Let's hope people will be patient when I ask them to wait because I don't want to lose my map due to a shitty bug with the game.
It's not like it isn't already hard enough to sustain my map pool / currency solo. I would like my map + alch back ty very much.
