Whispering Ice - Cannot have more than 4 socket - WHY?

yesterday i bought Wispering Ice staff. When I try make 6slot after 4slots poe write me, this equip cant have more than 4socket. Know anyone why? Thx | |

get the itemlevel of the staff by pressing alt and hover your mouse over the item.
