Path of Exile Windows 10 Failed to initialize.

Fresh Windows 10 installation today, Installed PoE and this comes up upon trying to start the game.

Nonsteam installation.

I Googled a bit installed several different visual c++ redistributables and also tried compatibility mode, same problem.

Enabling Windows firewall fixed this issue.
