Energy from Within not converting max life to max energy shield (flat)

As shown below, the flat health from the node is not being converted to maximum energy shield within the radius of Energy from Within. Not sure if this is intended or not as it is not % life, but the tooltip does however state it as "life" so it should be converting.   IGN: TornadoShotPewPew on Rampage

From what I can blurrily see, you have to actually have the nodes allocated for them to count. Also it doesn't convert flat life. Just nodes that actually say "increased" or "decreased" like the jewel states.
