Question about cold to fire.

So i decided to make a rather strange build, RF - ice nova with iron will. The premise of the build is to link ice nova to CTF and take fire dmg nodes, will this work or am i only buffing the 50% of the damage converted? Or would storm weaver/celestial nodes be enough with strength stacking?

only the 50% converted + the added dmg as fire will get the fire dmg bonus. this build would go very well though with avatar of fire keystone, which converts the other 50% cold to fire for 100% conversion. then you can take both cold and fire nodes to maximize the damage output.

I would rather use ice nova with Elemental Equilibrium :D
