Grocery shopping is a pain in the ass and here's why

Must be nice. Not too much delivery here. It is a pain.
Censored.
go at 4am. Problem solved.

Personally I dont get frustrated when waiting in line, its when people try to talk to me that I get annoyed. I'm here to buy things and get back to the dark recesses of my room so I can die a slow death in front of my computer because it makes me happy and talking to you does not. Nonetheless I still respond in a courteous and respectful manner. The only time I initiate conversation it is with the cashier asking them how their day is going.

culture of small talk

do not want
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
A couple months ago, an man came up to me at the grocery store and tried to get my phone number for me to do something related to his 'internet business'. I guess could be a fucking pornstar right now if i wanted to. Yes, I am that hot. Unfortunately i'm not gay. =(
Over here in Germany, we now have a number of large, nation-wide online supermarkets that deliver within 24-48 hours, without even charging extra. They also do fresh products, like meat and other stuff that needs cooling, which comes in a cooling box. There's a deposit fee for that box, but the postman will pick it up the next time you buy something, so you can just cycle it.

It's very convenient, and it actually saves me some money because I can better plan my groceries, swap around items on the virtual shopping list, and see how much everything is before I check out. Also makes it easier to find discounted stuff since it's all in a separate category.

The UK had online supermarkets for a while longer, it's only been 2-3 years since they opened up over here.

It saves more than ten minutes! :p I also don't live in a large city, so there's no supermarket in walking range at all. Not even a small grocery store, or anything other than winery. The two German online supermarkets I use are this and this one.

I go to the grocery in the middle of the night because there aren't too many people. I hate people especially when I'm just trying to do something ASAP when bodies around do nothing but get in my way. When I'm in that mindset, you're not a human, you're an obstacle in my way, and you're pissing me off.

Going to store between dawn till a little afternoon is the worst time. All the elderly retired people are out shopping, and they're moving slowly, blocking isles, can't find their credit card/wallet at the checkout line, etc. Being in situations like this do nothing but aggravate my antisocial tendencies.

This lol. It is actually worse since I live in an area populated by elderly people, so I see those issues constantly, especially the credit card/change one at the checkout line. Worst part is that they can sometimes take up to 5 minutes to find that coupon they had for a 1$ reduction
