At the time the above post was made, a fix was indeed made to improve the behaviour with this skill.
Unfortunately, the fix caused more problems than it solved, so we had to revert it.

The problem still exists and we still have an open ticket for this to be addressed.
I apologise for the incorrect estimate given with the previous reply, we should not have specified that in the post, as you can now see things don't always go to plan.
