A Valentine for All Our Female Players

Since tomorrow is Valentine's day I just thought that I'd inflict this on you.

With apologies to GGG of course ( :-) )

To the Inimitable Ladies of Wraeclast...

She stands alone to face the bestial horde,
Her riven armour blackened, dented, torn
And lifts aloft her reddened, dripping sword
To slay or suffer death, her vengeance sworn.
Before her lie the bodies of her slain
'Midst smoking ruins where her village stood
She claims wergild for death, this Demon's bane
A debt that they must pay - and pay in blood!
What curse has wrought this change in nature sweet
This tender loving hand now turned to war?
Twas but a simple trinket, children's treat
That she downloaded from the 3G store.
This gentle little girl is not the same
Since she began to play that PC game!
Nice sonnet. :)
Warhammer 40k Inquisitor: where shotgunning is not only not nerfed, it is deeply encouraged.

Dogma > Souls, but they're masterworks all. You can't go wrong.

I was right about PoE2 needing to be a separate, new game. It was really obvious.

My thanks, kind sir. From you indeed a compliment.

I was, however, under the impression that you were a valentine-er rather than a valentine-e :-)

I haven't gotten shit for the girlfriend.

True story.

I don't really subscribe to the Valentine's day thing and thankfully neither does she. We both knew, when we met, almost amusingly, that Saint Valentine is the patron saint to all sorts of amusing things, and none of them are 'chocolate hearts' or 'sappy Hallmark cards'. ;)

I don't need an excuse to spoil the poor bitch burdened with putting up with me. :)

Happy Valentines's Day to you also The Eggys :)

Nice one Eggy. :) Very fun to read.

Charan- I haven't gotten anything for my other half, either, and I will probably end up paying for that.
