Returning player looking for some advice

Hello all,

I've played this game back in beta, and now I'm looking to return to it, as I've gotten tired of D3 and Heroes of the storm.

I would like to know which class you would suggest to someone like me.

I usually like to do damage, and I can barely remember anything about this game.

You probably better off starting as a caster, because they are less gear dependent than attack builds. Pick one element (fire/cold/lightning) and corresponding skills (Freeze Pulse/Arc/Ball Lightning/Flame Blast all should work decently well). As a starting class I would recommend Templar, cause he has relatively easy access to damage and defense nodes early on.

You also can go double Flame Totem - very safe, decent damage, low gear requirements build. In this case I would recommend looking up LiftingNerdBro's guide to get the general idea.
