If you're farming specific divination cards from areas within the storyline, you absolutely want to suicide your character to stay within the goldilocks zone.

Why? At most you're getting maybe 10-20% penalty which you'll probably more than make up for with a higher level character by having much better clear speed and movement speed. People need to stop acting like having ANY penalty at all means the area is no longer viable to farm at all.
