Constant crashes - mainly act 3

My game is crashing a lot and when I verify my game cache on steam it says I have a corrupted file and tries to reinstall the file. The only problem is that the file is always corrupted. Usually after an in game crash, I am not even able to load the game due to "bad allocation" error or "corrupt file tempest.... pink... etc". I have emailed GGG support and waiting to hear back.

Sounds like your hard drive is on the fritz.
It's not out of the realm of possibility that your crash is actually BECAUSE the file was corrupted already when it attempted to load. If the file it is attempting to load is corrupt, it would certainly cause a crash. The only thing i can think of that would cause a corruption like that is a drive or drive controller. Scan/check your drive |
