DOMINATION CRAFT BUG REPORTS & ANALYSIS

Hey there everybody...

Alright, since 2.0, something went wrong with the domination craft (zana map device).
Basically, you lose 10 chaos and get 0 extra shrines instead of 5, despite the mod is actually listed in the map details.
Some have claimed that the associated monster packs are generated though, but it has yet to be confirmed.
The purpose of this thread is to gather the maximum we can, first to get a better idea of the problem, but especially to allow the players to avoid wasting their precious currency.
Right now, the reports highly indicate that :

> Only maps with landscape tilesets from act 4 are affected, but not all of them.
> Pre-2.0 legacy maps are unaffected.
> Map level doesn't seem to matter.

### BUGGED A4 MAPS :

The following maps are assumed to be bugged (domination was reported to fail at least 1 time).

- colosseum (82) : 1 report
- excavation (80) : 7 reports
- malformation (76) : 2 reports
- volcano (77) : 13 reports
- waterways (80) : 7 reports

NOTE : NOBODY CONFIRMED THAT DOMINATION EVER WORKED ON THOSE MAPS, WHICH MEANS THERE ARE GREAT CHANCES THAT THE BUG IS PERMANENT AND THEREFORE EASILY REPRODUCTIBLE.

Before reporting in this thread, please be sure to check if the zana mod is actually listed in the map details ([Tab] by default).

The following maps are assumed to be unaffected by the bug (domination was reported to work fine at least 1 time).

Hmm, I thought I'd added Anarchy to a well-rolled Dry Woods map last night and chanced a bunch of Agate Amulets, but after chancing realized it wasn't on the top tab. I thought I must have just spaced and not actually added it (I didn't go back to check the amount of chaos in my stash), but seeing this I think it's probably a bug.

Honestly, this sounds more to me like a human error on your side, or possibly another bug type.
Good to know though, in case some more players encounter such thing.

EDIT :

Once i've used all my legacy 78's, i'll probably try to craft an ambush on a 80 map.
I'm kinda curious, cause GGG said no cartog boxes in 80+ maps, so i'd like to know if that actually includes the ones that spawn using an ambush craft.
I'll post how it went as soon as i can test that.

I attempted to put Domination mod on an Excavation map in Warbands, but it didn't work. Checked the map mods and saw the 5 extra shrines listed, but the area had no shrines. No screenshot, but just remembered and decided to search and see if others were having similar issues.

First post updated.
The way i see it, the concerned maps must somehow have a generation algorithm that is incompatible with the addition of the shrines themselves.
But since domination isn't bugged on all maps, it implies that the algorithm isn't really the same for all maps.
Right now, i can tell that i at least succeeded with domination in some legacy maps.
I'm kinda curious to see if it works in a non-legacy "old" map.
I'll test that if i'm in the mood to potentially lose 10 more chaos.
More victims to expect, anyway...
