Spells Not Hitting

Hi guys, i noticed that spells I cast don't hit anything. (Skills such as Freezing Pulse and Cold Snap.) I manage to damage things via minion, totem and traps. Am I doing anything wrong?
Not sure how I could provide a screenshot for this problem.

Edit: Even Arc doesn't do any damage.

you took the 2 totem passive most likely, go read the description of the keystone passive

Hello creators of PoE, can I request a change of description of the Ancestral Bond?

"Can summon up to 1 additional Totem
You can't deal damage with your skills yourself."

to

"Allows summoning of 1 additional Totem

All direct skills/spells from player do not deal any damage"


Emphasis with the space between the lines. The description caught me off guard. "You can't deal damage with your skills yourself" is pretty common sense, since the way I understood it, you let the totem cast it for you. And it doesn't mention 'clearly' that it affects skills/spells from the player.

Felt really down because of this misunderstanding. Will try to see if I would still continue playing, but I would like to point this out for the other players who may understand the description the way I did.
