Need some help on installing loot filter

I have the game installed through steam. I ran through a couple filters and followed the set up guides but it does not work as it is supposed to.

Checklist of things:
Copy the text from the filter exactly. Paste it into Notepad. Use the 'Save As' command. Name it 'word.filter'. Save it as 'All Types'. Move the file to your MY DOCUMENTS \ MY GAMES \ PATH OF EXILE folder. Not the actual game file where your client and shit is. There is a separate folder under 'My Documents'. You know you have the right one if 'production_Config' is one of the files in that folder. |

" Something else you might check. Your editor might still add .txt on the end. So the whole name would be word.filter.txt. You need to delete the .txt. Keep in mind that on some systems the extension is not shown by default. So you might not be able to see the .txt. |
