I compiled a list of suggestions I really liked from reading the forums and my own experience playing. Sometimes a suggestion gets buried quickly and I hope I can bring them more attention this way. 1) Label player indicators on the minimap
-nothing fancy, just text name under their X
2) Add directional indicators for party members outside the visible minimap
-a named indicator showing you which way your party member is
3) Overhead name for party members (toggle)
-optional toggle because I know some people wouldn't like this
-it would make chasing people down in town easier though
4) Overhead health/shield bars for enemies/summons (toggle)
-I know a lot of people would not like this so it should be optional
-it would convey a lot of combat information quickly
5) Allow Return to Character Selection from Menu
-as opposed to logging off
6) Custom/moderated/private/guild chat channels
7) Allow scaling of chat window
-this might be harder than it sounds
-an alternative would be changing to size of text in chat
8) More Segmented Chat Channels
-allow players to join chats as they please
-e.g. low level trading, orb trading
-e.g. 1-40 general chat, 40-70 general chat, 70+ general chat
9) A more noticeable mouse indicator that can be seen over lots of skill effects
10) Allow the party leader to set the party player cap below 6
11) Always show party player icons, gray out players in other zones
-indicate what zone grayed out players are in under their name/health bar
-indicate what difficulty and zone players are in in the social options menu
12) I love implicit mods, add more
-e.g. small implicit movespeed on boots
--some immediate (if small) movespeed increase on crude boots in the twilight strand is a great introduction into the game's itemization
-the implicit attributes on non-onyx amulets feel a bit low and may need a boost
-this would increase the value of blessed orbs by proxy
13) Golems, Skeletal Archers, Werewolf/bear/panther skills, small nerf to auras

14) Diablo 1&2 style Shrines

-a PoE twist on shrines could be interesting and could definitely make the early game less monotonous
-e.g. Increased Attack/Cast Speed/, All Skill Gems levels +2, Increased Resistance/Armor, Increased Movespeed/Life Regen/Mana Regen, et cetera
--maybe some negative shrines as well, decreased resistance/armor, life degeneration
15) Address Combat Visibility
-skill effects, minions, etc. can cover up already difficult to see monsters
-make combat easier to read
16) A separate bind just for movement

17) Allow the TAB minimap to zoom out or increase the arrow movespeed
-The TAB minimap does zoomout with the rest of the screen
--perhaps "+" "-" could be used to zoom it out independently of the camera
18) Unsure on this, but maybe allow players to see what teammates have explored
-Pros include quicker assimilation into new parties/zones and team synergy
-Cons include a possible loss of ambience
19) Allow us to inspect/view the gear/passive tree of other players ingame or from the website
-this should be a toggle option so private players don't have to reveal their gear or build
20) Consider improving trade with a forum item filter, like this one: http://poe.xyz.is/
21) Change Regals to act like Alchemy Orbs on blue items, or add a new orb that adds more than 1 property to a magic item
-This would be invaluable to players looking to craft magic items without a lot of exalted orbs to spare
22) Decrease the socket color bias on items a little bit
-I have heard it's already been decreased recently, hopefully there's room for more RNG here
23) Have a NPC sell a lvl 66 maps for 1 chaos
-this has been suggested so that lvl 70+ players don't need to farm lvl 60 content for map
-increasing the drop rate of maps would probably solve this problem as well
-the lady in the solaris temple would be a reasonable NPC for this
-item quantity does help, if you're having problems finding maps
24) Maybe a 1-2 week race league with a cap on character play time
-this would allow you to play out your time whenever you want over 1-2 weeks
25) Right now players can body block you from loot, the pickup range could be increased to abate this or you could just move through players like in town
-e.g. narrow pathways in lunaris temple lvl 3
26) Allow a FFA or long (20 seconds) timer loot set by the party leader of the created instance, the loot rules don't change once an instance is created
-Paying full attention to the game is fun and I love fighting for good loot but I sometimes want to see what's happening in trade chat at the same time
-In the above scenario and anytime you don't want to devote your full attention to the drops a long timer system is preferable
27) Increase relationship between Required Level & Item Level
-At the moment buying high item level items with a low required level undermines itemization
--why craft or use any gear you find when you can trade for higher ilvl gear
---Marrying Required Level to Item Level would abate the aforementioned and would restore the steady item progression
-Exceptions to this mechanic would include low level uniques
28) An option to reduce skill/effect graphics (toggle)
-this is especially a problem with summons and particle effects, maybe an opacity filter could help
-an option to completely hide friendly spells and/or summons
29) Bring back Diablo 2 style hostile
-Party leader can enable or disable hostiling
--Allows dueling games in the same vein as D2
--Dueling parties can be named as such
-Serves all the same purposes as Diablo 2 hostile
30) Guided Projectile/Seeker Projectile Support Gem

33) Inventory Item Hue - to make the inventory easier to read

-rare items have a slight yellow hue
-unique items have a slight orange hue
-gems could be given a different rarity hue depending on their quality
--1-10% magic blue hue, 11-17% rare yellow hue, 18-20% unique brown hue
---this would make reading your inventory gem quality much easier
34) Make misses, dodges, blocks, etc more noticeable and distinct
-Looks like the devs are against floating combat text FCT
--there's still room to make things like misses, blocks and such easy to read though
35) Set Items (but nothing like that other game)
-It has been suggested that soft semi-sets could be a viable
-4-6 piece sets that are viable are a bad idea
-Some low level 2-3 piece sets with unique mods could be interesting
--e.g. +%experience low level set
36) Prioritize Rare Item Text over Magic and White Text
37) More cooldown skills to encourage deliberated combat
38) Automatically Close Map Portals when a new map is activated
39) Mail system
40) Toggle for Friendly Player Targetting
-when toggled still allow player options & trade via their portrait or chat name
41) Recolor Support Gem Settings to Silver

-this would help player distinguish between support and active gems that much more quickly
-it probably wouldn't take much effort and would maintain all the well done artwork
42) A setting to abate picking up garbage while clicking in combat
-something like a ctrl+click option to pick up items
-or a setting where you can't pick up items whose text you can't see
43) Time-Stamp public party names
-This would stop people from joining very old games or games whose named objective was completed long ago
