[2.0] "Neptune's Exemplar" Dual Wield Crit Ice Crash by wraithe_au

What did you use before you could use ice crash? lvl 1-37?
i find static strike the best skill levelling. You don't need to use melee splash and the damage is great
So many strikes within one breath.
But only one strike needed, for certain death.
Thanks...using cleave and lightning strike was starting to be annoying!
Do you also put life and res priority on your gear when lvling and late game?
res not so much. i always use a goldrim for resistances.

yeah try to get as much life as you can, and choose life when faced with any tree choices

Hi all,

bandit rewards:

ALL/OAK
OAK
ALIRA

Do you mean Kraityn for the Frenzy Charge in Merc? Alira gives a Power Charge, which this build does not specialize in.

yes definitely a good option after the frenzy buff. I have always favoured crit performance personally

Power or Frenzy bandit then? If i choose frenzy should i change assasins mark for poachers mark mean I am a little confused here.
Keep assassin's mark. You need the power charges and blood rage is enough to get frenzy charges

O goody, I am leveling this character now to try it out, sounds like fun.

look what the cat dragged in, this is like a PERFECT jewel for this build:

Cant wait to smash some Cold Monster heads with this...
Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG!
So multistrike doesn't support Icecrash ? sad :/

I have built the Vulcan's before was really fun but i'm not sure about converting him into Neptune's.

According to you what are the differences between Vulcan's and Neptune's in terms of Gameplay/Dps mono and multi/ Def ?

And why not picking Unwavering Stance since we pick IR ?

Yes so it's single hits only. A completely new way of playing.

But you'll be surprised at how well it does as a replacement for dual strike.

First of all, it deals massive hits instead of fast smaller hits.

It's damage is 360° AoE instead of single target.

Multistrike without splash made you hit 3 different targets, not just the one you originally hit, so it took multiple attacks to clear a group. Ice Crash hits everything at once, and if you one-shot one mob, you one-shot every mob.

With ice crash you freeze every mob around you, keeping you from getting hit. The cold damage ensures a lengthy freeze time.

This is why i didn't go for US. My way of playing is landing right in the middle of a group and freezing everything before they react.

Having said that, it's just 4 nodes away.
