Portal in Wall

Started daily mission for Vorcii and it opened his portal into the wall. He could walk through it but I obviously could not. I do not know how to drop the mission now and cannot do other dailies because that one is in progress. Waiting 15 minutes "for the instance to close" as someone suggested hasn't worked either (has been over half an hour). Still seems like a bug or worthwhile fix to make portals avoid opening in walls.

Hit the edit button and move the master location. The portal moves with it.

Tried that too, didn't work.

What do you mean it didn't work? After you clicked edit, when you clicked where the master stands, did a yellow circle not appear to let you move/rotate the object?
