VictorDoom's tanky and cheap BoR + FB cycloner(6k+ life, 35k+Cyclone, 53-66% block for 2-3exa)

So im making a build for 2.0 and came to the conculsion that FB + BoR instead of abyssus is really good and tanky with shitty gear, with just a bor and some random gear you find you can get to 6k life and 35k+ dps, 60% block and 450 life regen. With good gear all of these numbers are much higher.

My gear, the most expensive item is the BoR that i got for 1 exa, everything is non leg and easy to get, the shield is especially crap because of the small base block, with a good 30% base shield you get to 60% block chance.





All of the gem links you can see the gear section, and as gear goes you basically you need a BoR, a meginords, a pair of facebreakers and some gear with flat physical damage and you're set. You can get all of that stuff for like a total of 2-3exalts, really cheap for a char that can do any map.

I can't shake the idea that BoR is only worth using if you have a double legacy version. The extra block chance is nice but not a big deal anymore, you lose gem slots, you can get more damage with Abyssus and a 5L, and you lose out on chest resistances. However, it's cheap, you don't get the downside of Abyssus, and 20% chance to gain an Endurance Charge on block is a huge boon in beta where we can't use CwDT + EC. Aside from not owning or not wanting to use Abyssus, I think the Endurance Charge mod is the best reason to use a non-legacy BoR. What about grabbing charges on the tree?

Well i use a normal BoR because there are no leg versions in 2/.0 new leageus, and same with facebreakers.

The extra block and free 6l, free blind(straight up 50% ehp with blind), and free endu charges seems extremely good to me, the resists are easy to get, if you need more you can always grab the ele resist while holding a shield nodes

I know i can get more damage with abyssus but i also get a lot less tanky and need a 6link

I might acutally grab some charges on the tree yeah, depends on how the tree will be in 2.0, currently like this with very shit gear the char is doing surprisingly well, 38k cyclone and 6.2k life(can have more with good gear, im missing life on a bunch of slots), 53% block chance with that shitty shield, in 2.0 with a good shield of 30% block ill have 63% block chance
