The dtuser14 Protest!

As many of the people here are somewhat disappointed about the beta key give away process i myself wasn't up until now.

If you look at this search

You will notice this user made 17 accounts within an hour or so.

Was giving a beta key on one of his 17 accounts so far.


My point of this thread is to start a protest on those people who are making multiple accounts, and those who are smart enough to use different usernames each time so to not stand out to the community. But GGG has access to info that can find out who is making multiple accounts and remove them from the beta key giveaway list.

Also if i may address a concern of many in the community about the "New, Zero Poster, Total Log in Time 1-5 mins" accounts getting Beta Keys.

As we know this is completely random on who gets keys and that some people with zero posts are still as deserving as anyone else. Those who do not log into beta after an unsaid amount of time wont end up being "wasted" because as Chris said in his post last night before heading off to bed is that they will just send out more Beta Keys until they feel they have enough people.

Wow, people will whine over anything.

I'm gunna make a thread that protests your protest because no where does it explicitly say you cannot create multiple accounts.

They could have easily limited it to 1 account per IP, but they haven't.

Success is just an opportunity seized.

I know there is a post about it, read the topic title.

It's not right to call out specific people on the forum like this. The blame gets entirely shifted on a single person when there are probably hundreds of people doing this. (On a large number of other game forums, it's a ban-able offence)

Send one of the Devs / Forum moderators a message and let them resolve it.

GGG will take care of those who abuse the invite system, do not worry.

Everyone needs to stop making threads complaining about the beta invite process. It's only 9:16 in NZ, the devs will probably be coming into work soon and do something to address the problems. There are enough threads to bring the issue to their attention and making more and more of them isn't going to help.

Read the answer Chris gave to a member who asked "I hope they have something in place to stop people from making tons and tons of new accounts just to have more of a chance."

Also on the comment about my join date. Like it matters? Wait i guess this means because you joined before i did you are a better person then i am cause you got lucky and found out about PoE before me. Common this community is starting to show its true colors. We don't need negative people posting insults.
