I've had FPS problems with this game when I used an AMD HD4850 quite some time ago. I've read a lot of similar post of people with AMD HD models.
In my experience the FPS lag mostly occurred when animations would first show up. For example when encountering a group of monsters there would be framedrops when on my first blow with Lightning Strike, after those framedrops there would be no problem until the next group of monster I would encounter. Back then there were no strongboxes so. There is also a post in the developer manifesto about graphical performance: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/893012. I believe that GGG continuously works on reworking skills in terms of the optimization of effects and animations what would mean that skills might not always be performing optimal graphics wise... " Search google for a driver sweeper , i receommend the one from 3dguru dowload lastest drivers for ur video cards, 7/7/15 use the driversweeper to uninstall your driver, restart install the new drivers Hope it help |
