current gear. what can i do better to do higher maps?

Wondering if i could add any different gems or something to clear higher maps. all resis are capped with aura's up.

Weapon elemental damage on rings, amulet, and belt will boost your damage by a lot. Also, I'm pretty sure the weapon elemental damage gem will add more damage than faster attacks, since it is an elemental build. I'm not the smartest player, but I think adding some of these will help for sure!

Far and away your biggest upgrade would of course be a weapon with more elemental damage.

As the person above me mentioned, the "x% increased elemental damage with weapons" mod exists on jewelry. Getting this mod on a couple pieces will make a big difference.

Have you tried WED over life leech?

Your damage comes from the auras, you should buy level 20 corrupted aura gems (10-15c each).
At least 20 weapon ele damage for your rings, amulet, belt.
Use weapon ele damage gem insted of life leech. Use atziris promise flask for leech + more damage.
Quality gems give another huge buff: ST q20 = 10aps + LMP q20 = 10 aps + FA q10 = 10 aps.
