I craft a jewel as below:
Prison Arrow has AOE tag, but the Area damage cannot increase the damage of prison cloud. I really cannot understand it. Only Chaos damage, Projectile damage and Damage over time can increase the prison cloud damage? | |

increased AoE damage will increase the cloud damage, you just will not see it in the tooltip (this is a known 'bug'). IGN: WildTortillaFart

" Or, you could start from Ranger, ignore the AoE nodes (unnecessary), save four points that way +1 point in total cuz Scion's inefficient, path up to Corruption and get a ranger proj node. Saves 1 point, adds 22% increased damage.

Hey guys, thought I'd give a bit of feedback.
I used EK/FT/Fire Trap to level. I died two times on normal with the HC tree in Tempest, once to Malachai due to me not knowing the fight at all and being bad at dodging and once to Kaom with energizing temepest (gives mobs max all charges). The problem with this build early is a) single target dps and b) its squishy as hell if you start ranger. Now that Malachai is nerfed it should be fine, but it will be very hard to rush through normal without good gear, at least if you suck like me :D I will try to go poison arrow right before Malachai normal now to see if it helps with single target damage and not having to stand still to cast very much, which was the problem with EK.
