No more currency progression?

Um is it just me or you can no longer trade up currency at NPCs?

I tried it with most of the currencies listed in that list, none of them work, they all trade for wisdom scroll fragments... (except for portal scroll which trades for wisdom scrolls)??

You can buy higher currency with lower, but you do it on the "purchase" screen not the sell screen. Of course this has to be done at the jewelry vendor, not the armor vendor unless you're buying whetstones, armor scraps, or glassblowers baubles. Also you may have to be in act 3 to buy the higher tier currency but I'm not positive on that. Another thing I learned recently is that you can sell (sell screen) a trans orb for 4 wisdom scrolls, so if you're short on wis scrolls that's a quick way to get some.

Ah I see... used to vendor recipes on the sell screen, never really used the purchase screen other than sell-back RGB's and 6S's. Thanks.

yes you have to buy the orbs clarissa is selling so those vendor recipes cannot be done in the sell window.
