I was really hoping for a nice winter, You know - The type with no blinding white stuff and slippery ice to break your ass bone on :\

Lol, where I live we already had snow at the end of October. Very unusual to get snow that early in Philadelhia, PA in the U.S.

Usually we get snow around October, And usually it's fairly cold in October. But this year it's been very mild. It only started to get cold around 2 weeks ago.
I have never seen weather patterns like this in 22 years - Not to mention we are going to get a heatwave this weekend. the snow is already 70% melted. :D Fun things, Sad things...
