Ok cut to the chase

When the new act drops I'd like to have a member of the week contest for my guild..What I am looking for is a simple software that can have up to 250 names on it and can chose a random name when asked. and set that name out of the list for the next drawing.

I have searched online and came across the program "The Hat" which was great but the last time i went to download it download.com didn't have it linked for download and when i tried to do it directly my virus program went off and blocked the page....

hey thanks that will work in a pinch too bad we can't register and have our list permanent on it..

Use a spreadsheet; you have your member names on one column and a cell ( the lucky person ) that looks up the name on the column with a random number generator ( possibly a RAND function) between 1 and the number of members.
