Steam account link everything gone

linked my steam account to your website account and lost everything. This is not linking... this is creating a new account and starting over... extremely frustrated... especially in a game where you get race... i'm in the one month hardcore league and i feel so screwed.

It appears that this is a new account, and that your Steam account was not correctly provided with an email address. Your Steam account is still active, separate to the one you are posting from. We might able to attach an email address to your Steam-created account for you, which will allow you to log in to the standalone client as well. But before we do that, we will first need to go through some verification steps: Please log into the Path of Exile website by using the "Sign in through STEAM" button and send a message to our support account.
