Skill suggestions: weapon enchantments

Similar to D2's enchant skill, I would find it interesting to have a couple of skills that would enhance weapons themselves.


First gem: elemental enchantment
White gem that would add flat elemental damage depending on the socket colour (either all ele for white sockets or chaos dmg, or even accuracy).

Could also add cool modifiers based on socket colour such as fire life leech (or on hit) for red, light mana leech (or on hit) for lightning, etc.

Obviously it would need a downside like it being a vaal gem or some kind of channeling to apply it or something.

Similarly to d2,this buff could be applied to allies.

second gem: physical enchantment
Adds accuracy because lord knows most attack builds lack it like hell. Maybe a bit of flat phys as well, and potentially physical life leech.

[Edit: maybe a percent based additive multiplier instead of flat phys]

third gem: spell enchantment
Not sure what would be balanced here but something similar to the first gem would be cool.

Thats not how gems work. Gems add skills, not stats.

And there is the accuracy support gem if you lack that. And white gems are OP as we already have white sockets we dont need white gems. Portal is enough already.

And orbs do all these things, they "enchant" the item, thats the D2 reference.

Uhhhh dude there are plenty of buff skills (blood rage, righteous fire, auras, AA, etc).

Just saying... As for the white gem, it would be a cool concept, though not a necessary one. If the idea does get picked up though, the devs can decide whether or not to make it white.
