Unable connect patching server/Unable to connect to instance

So I tried support and firewall off ons and such and still no luck. I lost my internet for about 2 weeks so I couldn't ask for help sooner.

Sometimes I launch the client and it shows "Unable to connect to patching server." Then it works, it lets me go to login screen/char select screen - I select a character and it's fine I'm in town np, fps latency everything fine. Sit there watch my friends level and etc. 30 mins - an hour, fine no problem. I zone to Coast and bam it crashes. It boots me back to login screen, I'd have to retype pw like I just entered from a new location. Sometimes it loads to a character selection screen (but with no options) - just a blank screen with the image of all the classes.

I don't know what's going on. I was playing Path fine no lag, no freezes or anything prior to this. Was there a big change around April 25th? That's the day my dc started happening. I uninstalled/reinstalled fresh and still same problem. Did pack check winmtr/dxdiag lowering my settings and so forth. I just don't know what happened. As far as I can tell, zoning crashes me 80% of the time - and leaves me with a generic "Unable to connect to instance." I also play League of Legends and my connection is totally fine - if that means anything.

If anyone ran into this problem before, how did you fix it? I'm running out of ideas.

I'm run Path on Med using
AMD IIx3 455
4 GB RAM
NVIDIA GEF GTX 460

- Thanks for reading.

If you only disconnect while zoning, that's almost always security related.. be it antivirus, firewall, or other security software or even hardware.

I usually recommend by removing and re-adding your exclusions in all of those things.

It's best if you can completely eliminate them for testing, but that isn't always easy once they're installed.

And don't forget things built in like Windows Defender or firewall.
Hey, thanks for trying to help out. I tried that the other day and it did not work. So today I turned MSE and firewall off completely to test and to no avail. However, something interesting came out of this.

I can play perfectly fine on the European gateway, I just can't connect to the American server (am located in CA, US.) So if anyone comes across this similar situation, please try playing on another server to see if it works. I am able to join my friends in the Flashback event, albeit higher latency.
