Will we need to update or is the old version fine, as in it will detect the new currency items just fine and not hide them?

Muldini's filter is future-proof. It will show new items, but may not necessarily *highlight* them. They will just appear as if you were using no filter at all, until he updates and puts things where he wants them.

(for what it's worth, most of the popular filters are like this now. Anything that doesn't explicitly end with a simple "Hide" is future proof.)

What he said, although in this case the filter won't work at all as it's quite specific (using basetypes) in certain areas and some of them are going to be renamed.
Doing this has advantages (can be really specific, "forces" people to update every now and then) as well as disadvantages (gets pretty long, "forces" people to update every now and then).

I've submitted version 2.4.0 to GGG's support team and kindly asked if they could check if it works on current alpha. If I get a positive feedback, I'll make it available immediately, otherwise I'll confirm it loads before releasing it.

Is there an easy way to add a highlight for maraketh items to this? I'd like to find the last few and finally get that stupid achievement this league.
