How important is a stash tab bundle?

I have the original 4, and it's driving me nuts.

Buy tabs, guys.

I have 60? stash tabs. Its not enough :(

It never is

this, +1

I myself have 34 tabs and it indeed is never enough. The more space you have, the more you will store.

Haven't read all replies but to answer the main question from OP:
if you have none or just a few tabs right now, buy more. Better investement then a MTX. You won't regret it
i played over a year with the basic tabs as a selffounder, and it was a little painful, but doable.

1.page: currency+few items that are currently under crafting (1 mule char for jewellers/chromes/whetstones/scraps)

2.page: maps+frags+chisels (1-2 mules for low level maps)

3.page: chaos/regal recipe (2 mules for belts/jewels)

4.page: nice items (5 mules and all other chars full.. :D)

+ all superior flasks/gems are where they can fit=total mess

Now i have 12 pages and it's a heaven

1=currency
2=low level/nice maps
3=maps
4=chaosrecipe
5=regalrecipe
6=craftable items
7=usable ring/amu's/belts
8=usable gear (chests/gloves)
9=usable gear (boots/helmets/shields/quivers)
10=usable weapons
11=level 1 gems
12=level 2-20 gems

HC stash looks the same, but i have replaced pages 9 and 12 with nice levelling gear, naturally.

I have 5 tabs for gems alone: 1 for each colour, 1 for leveled gems, 1 for quality gems
I have around 10 tabs just for currency, each tab for 1 orb type, and 1 complete page for the rarer orbs
I have 1 tab per armour slot for uniques, i.e. 1 for boots, 1 for gloves, etc.
I have 1 tab for chaos recipe
I have 1 tab (the very first) for dumping my dailie finds, gear, orbs etc.
I have 3 tabs for maps, 1-70; 71-78; unique + fragments
The rest is full of yellow gear I never use but won't vendor either:)

As i said before, You can never have enough stashtabs. The more you have, the more crap you stash in stupid ways:)
52 tabs.

Enough? Doubtful .......
"better to simply go balls deep full retard if you gonna go retard." -Boem-

My tabs - a lot of sales tabs make me so I can buy almost whatever- finding almost nothing useful ever.

Make a script and simply dump items in appropriate tab and procument does the rest automatically!

e.g.

spoiler="~b/o 3 chaos"]
{Stash:3 C}
spoiler="~b/o 5 chaos"]
{Stash:5 C}
Stash tabs are mandatory if you really want to play for a longer time.

I already have 4 Tabs only for currency, 4 Tabs for maps and 4 tabs for gems...
I think around 10 tabs is easily manageable. It lets you keep everything you need while forcing you to get rid of the things that you really should get rid of.

I have 29 tabs.
I fill them up each league, but I really shouldnt...
I have over 75, which is enough... mostly...

Generally, I have the following:
1 Scratch (where I gather currency which can later be moved once stacks have been created)
4 Loot (where I stash loot I don't immediately sell for later sorting)
6 Maps
1 Magic Find equipment
2 Rings
1 Amulet
13 Skill Gem (keep at least 6 of each, plus diverse)
2 Flasks
5 Armour Uniques
4 Weapon Uniques
2 per major Armour type (body, head, hand, feet, shield)
1 Belt
2 per major Weapon type (sword, mace, staff, axe)
1 per other Weapon type (bow, quiver, claw, dagger, wand)
1 lvl 1-10 stuff
1 lvl 11-20 stuff
2 lvl 21-30 stuff (one each for armour/weapon)
2 lvl 31-40 stuff (one each for armour/weapon)
6 currency store

Plus another 10'ish which are either in reserve (for when I get more uniques or currency), or used ad-hoc for specific builds.

I especially find the plenty of armour pages important as the ones I have enable me to store two rows of each type (armour, evasion, ES, plus the hybrids).
28 Stash tabs, still never seem to have space.

2 for currency.
3 for gems.
2 for maps.
1 main item sell tab.
2 cheap item sell tabs.
2 Storage tabs for stuff I want to keep.
1 Levelling tab
1 Temp tab (where stuff gets tossed if I can't be bothered to sort it at that time.)

Then I have 2 tabs for chaos recipe belts/rings/amulets. One for under 75 and one for 75+. Then 2 tabs per base type based on item level for chaos/regal recipe. That's ten tabs, maybe a little bit of a waste but oh well. 12 in total for chaos recipe.

Last two currently hold more 75+ weapons and armor, although they'll probably end up used for something else.

Playing with four is just obnoxious honestly.
