Hi, I saw achievements in PoE to finish the game on each difficulty level as a member of a "not hardcore league".
What is a softcore league, and how do I join one? What is a league, and what are the requirements and responsibiities for joining one? | |

Softcore leagues are those where you can continue to play after a death. E.g. Standard would be the permanent softcore league. There are also short-term "challenge" leagues running for 3-4 months that have a softcore and a hardcore version. The last pair was Torment/Bloodlines with Torment being the softcore one. It's always stated in the league's description whether they are soft- or hardcore and you can tell them apart by the colour of the banners: softcore is blue, hardcore is red.
There are no special requirements. All you have to do is to create a character in a league you want to join and play. :-) Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa.
