Unique Items - Personal Designs

As well as devoting special attention to the design and assessment of the new Unique Items, we wanted each member of the Game Design team to make a Unique of their own. As well as just increasing the count of Uniques Items, it allowed each designer to add something they wanted to exist in Path of Exile.

The process required each designer to make their Unique from scratch in the game tools, rather than just submitting a design. As well as keeping the designers practiced in making items (even if they hadn't for a while) it gave the end result a very personal feel.

You'll see a few of them over the next few weeks. I really like seeing what each of the game designers decided to add. You have already seen Rory's item The Whispering Ice. Here is mine:
