Can't refund passive nodes between Node areas.

I'd like to refund these two passive strength points you see in the pic. They're right in between two lines of nodes and can't be refunded from either side. I've wasted a bunch of regret orbs trying.

These are off the left branch of the Witch's skill tree. I should be able to refund the Dex point to the left (highlighted in Red), but it's impossible, and I can't comprehend why. Thus, I'm including this in the bug section, 'cause I really don't understand how this can be a planned part of the game design.

Edit: Image is up. But since it's kinda huge, I'm not embedding it. Please copy the link.
^_^ Ty for your help!

You host the screenshot on a site like imgur and then embed it here.

In the meantime, link your passive tree and we can probably figure it out.

Hey there,

Are you referring to the two Strength nodes, found here: http://i.imgur.com/hVO33Xy.png
If so, you'll need to un-spec the two 'duration' nodes first.
No, those aren't the nodes. That example is pretty clear, actually, it makes sense that I'd have to refund the duration one first.

Anyway, here's my pic. The one highlighted is the one I can't eliminate (and consequentially, the two Strength nodes to the right, either. I've tried un-specing from the elemental damage nodes, as well. It just doesn't work from either side!

Ah, I see. In that case, if you zoom out a bit more, you'll see that those Strength/Int nodes connect your start zone to the rest of your build: http://i.imgur.com/rSH85I5.png
lol. the tree has to all be connected. that should be obvious.

You can't, because they link the rest of your build.

The dex node to the left of the circled int node isn't assigned.
Sorry, I meant the Int point, highlighted in Red. So... this makes sense to you?
Shouldn't I be able to un-assign that Int point?
See Henry's image

the nodes to the north of the int node (in red) are NOT connected to your start area in ANY way (without that Int node in red).

If you find a way to reconnect the nodes north of that Int node to the start area, then you can refund it.

As it stands, without you having/taking "that" node you would have NO access to the rest of your tree. Which basically means your tree is invalid without it...you NEED that node atm.
