ci vaal righteous fire recommendation

ci = no life, hi es, resist chaos degen
vrf = explode and deal damage based on your life+es pool
Vaal Pact = instantly restore the es you used to fuel your slaughter

links:
4: vrf-ignite-prolif-LL
5: vrf-vrf-ignite-LL - inc aoe
6: vrf-vrf-ignite-LL - inc aoe - fire pen

so you turn yourself into a tanky pile of es, then you explode that huge es pool into instagibbing rares, bosses, and large mob packs.

don't switch to ci until it doesn't lose you a noticeable amount of es, AND have vaal pact.

i recommend against switch before 45 unless you have absurd gear and can be sure you WILL maintain having absurd gear for your level.

you can sacrifice a bit on resists for es pool since it also fuels your damage.

build = focus on getting more es, you only really need damage from the fire wheel north of witch, and you can use vrf from the point you can equip it;
execution = "warlords mark targets > walk into targets > explode > immediately use bubbling/seething pots to get above kill threshold" repeat and laugh at the absurd fire damage.

Vaal gems are not flasks. They fill up in parallel, but not simultaneously (1 kill = 1 soul, period, not 1 soul per vaal gem), and don't get bonuses for non-normal packs. You thus need something else to deal damage with to even be able to use this cute gimick. And it definitely isn't worth building around to the point of using a 6-link on it.

Still, this seems like a cute thing to add to an existing CI build, on a 4-link, if you have space open.
i agree, and you can use literally any fire gem you like, and in merciless it takes 32 souls to fill one gem, go look at richjmoney's vaal storm call build.

as soon as one gem fills, you use it to fill the other and alternate.

edit: also did you not notice the 4-link option?

Isn't Vaal RF Burn and thus unleechable?

Edit: Nvm, it's can't be reflected but can be leeched.

Even better for a VRF build I guess.
