Why do you Play Path of Exile?

On topic: to escape from reality while keeping my brain sharp. Any other games and I need to be a bit more mindless, which is annoying. Better stay in the land of the damned, Exile. Here, even the very words are corrupted by Nightmare.

Path of Exile is one of the few games out there for gamers by gamers.
It has a level of complexity and intellectual design that most games won't even consider in their worst nightmare. It is not a full time game for me because Hardcore is not viable and PvP is horribly unbalanced. But as a more 'hardcore' game, ARPG, and dungeon crawler it is a great game.
