when allies are damaged that damage is dealt as 66% phys, 66% a random element, and 66% chaos.

level 20 gem = 5% inc max res, 5% less phys damage taken, 40% chaos res, 40% inc radius
20 quality = 20% more radius
20/20 = 44% radius without radius from tree.

levels in gem = .25 increased max res, .25% less phys damage taken, 2% chaos res, radius +2% per level
quality = 1% more radius

effect examples before reduction:
1>
ally would take 100 fire damage
instead
ally takes 70 fire damage
you take 20 phys, 20 fire, 20 chaos.

2>
ally would take 9k cold damage
instead
ally takes 6300 cold damage
you take 4158 phys, 4158 cold, 4158 chaos

3>
group of 3 (aside from you) get hit for 3k lightning
instead
allies take 2100 lightning
you take 1386 phys, 1386 lightning, 1386 chaos
